The Specters of Sherwood is a medieval fantasy LARP club hosted by Kastelo Games.
New Players are Always Welcome!
Our LARP has something for everyone! It is like a mini Renaissance Festival every Saturday.
Dress up in your favorite medieval garb, learn anachronistic skills in our workshops, complete quests as your own original character, and/or clash (foam) blades with other players in glorious battle!
Weekly Meetings
Starting on September 14th, We’ll meet at 12:00 Noon most Saturdays for two hours at Sherwood Park (1301 E Sherwood Dr, Grand Junction, CO 81501).
Who May Attend?
Adults (and those 10-17 with a guardian’s written permission) may participate.
These are LGBTQ+-friendly events.
We’re also happy to make accommodations for the differently-abled on a case-per-case basis.
Non-European, non-Christian, and even non-human characters are welcome.
$15 Monthly Membership Dues

Non-Player Characters
Those who’d like to assist the Game Runner as an NPC may participate in the game for free. If interested, please report to the Game Runner (in costume) at Sherwood Park one hour before the LARP officially begins.
Story and Setting
Inspired by the legends of Robin Hood, our adventure is set in an alternate history during the Third Crusade in the heart of medieval England. It is a time of widespread corruption, poverty, and superstition.
All player characters will be connected in a significant way to the SPECTERS OF SHERWOOD, a secret division of Robin Hood’s forces tasked primarily with combating the unholy beasts, supernatural forces, and other mysteries emerging from the ancient forest.
