All actions of the game take place in physical spaces in Wisconsin and northern Illinois. Players can manage or take part in cities/countries, businesses, political parties, and much more.

All of the below mechanics are optional for each player. A player can take part in as little or as many things as they want.

Basics:

  • Cities have physical locations are located in different rooms, parts of yards, or public places like public parks.
  • Cities can be independent city-states or combined to form countries.
  • Governments can have any form of government including customized types of government.
Cities have properties with different functions.
  • Most properties are classified as buildings and have the potential to create different types of resources.
  • Other types of properties simply are used as storage or serve a unique function, usually something like a sports field.
  • Properties are things like desks and tables indoors, and porches, fields, and sheds and other small structures outdoors.
  • Properties can be owned by players, government, businesses, and other organizations.
Properties can be traded and sold like regular real estate.
  • Players are able to create virtually any type of organization they would like to including but not limited to joint stock companies, political parties, and sports teams.
  • Players and other entities (such as companies and governments) can issue their own in game currencies. It is up to players to decide what can be accepted as payments for game properties and items.
  • Corporations can issue shares of stock to raise capital. Players and other entities can take part in bond markets. Banks can also be formed.
  • Sports teams can be established and actual sports can be played (this is optional, just like everything else).
  • Countries can declare war on each other and players can have uprisings against governments. Combat is simulated with a variant of darebase (a game similar to capture the flag).
  • Players can offer unique services and skills to other players or organizations to earn items, game currency, or any other deal arranged.
  • Resources are classified as materials and products. Materials can be manufactured into products. Certain arrangements of products can be acquired and turned in for points in the game.

There can be many other aspects of this game and players can contribute in unique ways not mentioned here… but this is basically how it functions.
